SUGAR COOKIES RECIPE
Here’s our go-to cookie recipe! It’s easy to make and works perfectly with Custom and Portrait cookie cutters and any other designs with imprint.
INGREDIENTS
Butter - 200 g (7 oz) room temperature
Flour - 2,5 cup
Sugar - 200 g (7 oz)
1 Egg – can be replaced with cornstarch (1 tbsp mixed with 3-4 tbsp water).
Baking powder - 1/2 teaspoon
NOTE: You can replace the egg by corn starch (1 tablespoon of powder into 3-4 tablespoons of water). Most of the dough in my videos is egg-free!
And you can also replace regular flour by gluten-free. The result will be pretty much the same.
STEPS
1.Mix Butter + Sugar. Add Egg (or corn starch+water mix) and beat on medium or slow speed.
2. Mix Flour + Baking powder
3. Mix all the ingredients (beat on slow speed)
4. Wrap the dough in cling film and put in the fringe for 30-40 minutes to chill.
5. Roll out the dough and cut out using cookie cutters.
This easy sugar cookies recipe is perfect for creating beautiful cookies that hold their shape - great for using with portrait cookie cutters! 🎨✨
Whether you’re baking for Christmas, birthdays, holidays, weddings, or just want to surprise someone you love with a sweet personalized gift, these cookies will make everyone smile.
